A well-balanced curriculum and theme-based instruction help the young minds integrate their learning smoothly. The principles of learning applied in Kindergarten include Holistic Development and Learning (Aesthetics and Creative Expression, Language and Literacy, Numeracy, Self and Social Awareness) through play. The Kindergarten Curriculum enables children to have a smooth transition for a formal primary curriculum.


The Kindergarten Programme makes use of a range of individual and group activities which create a lively and positive learning environment. Games, rhymes, creative projects, story-telling, role-playing, drawing and painting help develop children's foundational skills in literacy and numeracy. Picnics and field trips enhance students' understanding of their surroundings. Celebration of festivals sensitises them to multiple traditions and cultures.

We follow the syllabus and assessment pattern prescribed by the CBSE. The medium of instruction is English. From UKG to Class V : Tamil (2nd Language). From Class III to Class V : Hindi ( 3rd Language). Class VI to IX students can either choose Hindi or Tamil as their 2nd Language. Class VI to IX students can either choose Hindi or Tamil as their 3rd Language.

VALUE EDUCATION


Morals and values complete a sound education. Moral Science and education classes are an integral part of curriculum at AMTJPS. This is a Jain Terapanth Community based School whose spiritual leader is Acharya Mahashraman. He is pioneer of Ahimsa Yatra propagating three basic principles to all and sundry - Harmony, Morality & De-addiction. The school strives to incorporate the moral values of these principles and make students better citizens of future India.
