The first Talent Display Competition for the Academic year (2024 – 25) was held on 12th July 2024. This event aimed to encourage students to showcase their public speaking skills, creativity, and commitment to sustainability.
Students of classes I & II dressed up as Kamarajar and delivered speeches on the values and legacy of Karmaveerar Kamarajar, emphasizing his contributions to education, simplicity, and integrity. The speeches were evaluated based on content delivery, costume, clarity, time limit and overall impact.
In the category III - V, students showcased their creativity and craftsmanship by designing mini purses and handbags using papers. Using a variety of materials and techniques, participants presented a range of innovative and stylish designs. The mini purses were judged on creativity, functionality, aesthetic appeal, and craftsmanship.
The recycled art work category (VI – VIII) encouraged students to create art pieces using recyclable materials, promoting environmental consciousness and creativity. Students presented a range of artworks, from sculptures to mixed media pieces, highlighting their ability to transform everyday items into artistic masterpieces.
Every student participated actively and spilled out their artistic talents in the event and had shown good enthusiasm. At the end of the competition, winners were finalised by the judges and certificates were given.
Three Parent volunteers from EKTA group were invited as judges along with our faculty members.
