Theme: “The Last Roar” – A Cry for Justice in the Hearts of the Forest
The 6th Annual Day Celebration of Acharya Mahashraman Terapanth Jain Public School was held on Saturday, 12th April 2025, at 4:30 PM at Rajah Annamalai Mandram, George Town, Chennai. The evening was a vibrant showcase of the school’s academic excellence, cultural richness, and creative vision, all echoing this year’s compelling theme — “The Last Roar.”
The event commenced with the Navkar Mahamantra and Tamil Thaai Vazhthu, instilling a deep sense of pride and reverence. Our Principal, Mrs. Jaya Prasad, delivered the Welcome Address, setting an elegant and heartfelt tone for the evening.
The ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, graced by distinguished dignitaries, symbolized the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by inspiring addresses from Mr. Tansukhlal Nahar, Chairman of the Jain Terapanth Welfare Trust, and Mr. Ashok I. Bohara, Correspondent of AMTJPS.
The school was honoured by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Mr. Pyarelal Pitaliya, President of Jain Mahasangh, and Guest of Honour Mr. Sandana Devan R, Correspondent of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Chennai. Their uplifting speeches added depth, dignity, and inspiration to the occasion.
The evening culminated in the Prize Distribution Ceremony, celebrating student excellence in academics, sports, and co-curricular pursuits.
A moment of great pride unfolded with the official unveiling of the school magazine — “The Focus” — a vibrant reflection of the creative and academic spirit of our students and staff.
The much-awaited Cultural Extravaganza captivated the audience with powerful performances that emphasized ecological awareness, the urgent need for environmental conservation, and the soulful voice of nature.
The Annual Day – Disha 2025 was not just a celebration of the school’s achievements, but also a resounding call for justice, empathy, and action toward the environment — truly “The Last Roar” from the heart of the forest.
