The yoga session for Grades I and II, conducted by Mr. Kannabiran on 07.10.2025, aimed to promote physical fitness, mental focus, and relaxation among students. The session began with simple warm-up exercises such as neck rolls, shoulder shrugs, and side stretches, followed by wrist, ankle, and waist rotations to enhance flexibility and coordination. Students then practiced basic yoga poses like Mountain Pose (Tadasana), Tree Pose (Vrksasana), Downward Dog,  Cat-Cow and also performed mindful breathing techniques such as Balloon Breath and Lion’s Breath to calm and energize their minds & body. The session concluded with a short Savasana (Shanthi Pose), encouraging relaxation and imagination. Overall, the session helped students improve body awareness, balance, and concentration in a joyful and creative atmosphere.
